KitchBoom china dinner sets are durable, however, there are still measures you can take to make sure you are serving your loved ones on your KitchBoom china dinnerware for years to come.

General Care Advice:

  1. KitchBoom Bone China must not be subjected to extreme temperature changes or exposed to a naked flame or hot liquids above boiling temperature.

How to wash KitchBoom bone china dinnerware and teaware?

There is nothing quite like drinking a cup of tea from Fine Bone China. The taste is enhanced, and the temperature remains hotter creating a relationship between drink and drinker.

To keep your china looking its best (and to maintain the quality of taste) it is recommended to:

  1. Wash it quickly after use, remove sticky food residue and do not use scouring pads and/or abrasive detergents.
  2. It is perfectly safe to clean your bone china dishes in a dishwasher - we recommend in a gentle cycle and at a maximum hot water temperature of 65°C / 150°F.
  3. Soaking in warm water before you wash your bone china will help remove most stains or hardened particles. Ideally, one can hand wash the items after soaking, but as noted above, the dishwasher can be an option, however,  take care not to overload the rack, and keep metal items away from your fine bone china - even light contact can scratch, chip or crack your dishes.

How to store your bone china dinnerware and teaware?

  1. When storing bone china plates or tea sets, try not to slide them over one another as this may cause tiny scratches in the glaze.
  2. The surface used on tableware is hard, however, the front of one plate can be scratched by the back of another so care should be taken when stacking and we recommend that a paper napkin is placed between each plate in order to take proper care of the surfaces.
  3. Cups and mugs should not be stored or hung from a cup hook or stacked, as this may weaken the handles.
